Club house to reopen on Saturday 4th July

Fordhouses Club house to reopen on Saturday 4th July

We are delighted to announce that the doors of Fordhouses Cricket Club will reopen on Saturday the 4th of July.

The club will reopen at 11am and we will be adhering to strict government advice to ensure the safety of our staff and members,

Everyone will need to enter the club via the main corridor, maintaining social distancing. The first stage of re-opening will include all three downstairs rooms but with reduced capacity per room and only two serving areas – one in small lounge and one in large function room. There will be a holding area in both rooms where people will wait to be served.

Each room will be clearly marked-out to ensure there is a natural flow.  Weather permitting the outdoor facilities will be available.

There will be indoor and outdoor toilets available with the appropriate cleansing facilities in place.

Unfortunately there will be no indoor games available, (snooker, dominoes, cards etc) and the volume of the TV will be kept at a low level in accordance with national guidelines.

We will also, in accordance with government guidelines, be recording all members contact details for the purpose of test, track and trace on entrance to the club.

All drinks consumed on the premises must be purchased from the bar.  Unfortunately we are not able to provide personal picnic facilities..
