Joined the club in 2017 and entering my 9th season as a first team at Fordhouses. Proudly named 1st team captain for the upcoming season. I'm really excited about the year ahead for the club both on and off the pitch.

Adult Cricket Section
2nd TEAM
Fordhouses 2nd XI will be playing in the 2nd Division of the South Staffordshire County Cricket League for 2026 Season following promotion in 2025.
The team are looking very strong again for the new season having added a number of talented players.

Stephen Mundy
Came through the Junior System in 2007/2008. Only played my cricket at Fordhouses CC and have played in all four adult teams while also having periods throughout my playing career of being both Club’s 3XI and 2XI Captain. Have contributed as a Junior Coach, Safeguarding officer and now Junior Co-ordinator. I’m excited to see the transition of Junior talent that is emerging from our Juniors into our seniors in the upcoming years as the next generation of talent lead the club forward.

3rd TEAM
Fordhouses 3rd XI will be playing in 5th Division of the South Staffordshire County Cricket League.
The team are looking to build again for the new season having added a number of talented players to get back into the 4th Division.

Joined the clubs 3rd team in 2022 after several years out of cricket. Appointed captain in 2025, I’m proud to lead the team while supporting the transition of emerging young talent from the junior ranks into senior-level cricket, mentoring the next generation as the develop into future stars.

4th TEAM
Fordhouses 4th XI will be playing in 7th Division of the South Staffordshire County Cricket League.
The team are looking to continue in bring in the talent from the Junior teams for the new season following the success in 2025 season.

Joined the Club’s 4th Team squad in 2022 after several years contributing as a Junior coach and Team Manager. Appointed Captain in 2023, I’m proud to lead the team while supporting the transition of emerging talent from the Junior ranks into senior-level competition, mentoring the next generation as they develop and thrive.

Rupesh Patel
I began my cricket journey at Fordhouses, representing the U13s and U15s, and was proud to be selected for the West Midlands at junior level. I’m especially grateful to my coach, Peter Jones, who played a key role in my development.
After playing for several other clubs, I rejoined Fordhouses in 2020 to give something back to the club where it all started. I now help support the juniors and 4th XI, focusing on developing players’ skills and understanding of the game.
Sunday 1st Team
Fordhouses Sunday 1st XI will be playing in 4th Division of the Lichfield & District Cricket League.
The team will be embarking on their inaugural season for 2026 with the aim of getting more of the clubs Junior players involved in senior level cricket.
