Attended a wake held at the cricket club, the buffet provided exceeded our expectations! There was such a big selection of sandwiches, quiche, sausage rolls, chicken drumsticks & samosas all beautifully laid out in a beautiful venue room. The staff were fantastic and the drinks were a very reasonable price. Would have no hesitation to recommend for any occasion. Many thanks!

Very nice place had a wake here and the staff were lovely the drinks were so reasonable. The room itself was very spacious and outside plenty of parking space . Overall very good experience

Had a great day today at Fordhouses Cricket Club. Jan and Colin who run the club were so welcoming and friendly. The weather was perfect, great atmosphere with lots of friendly people. Great facilities and great game of cricket too. Highly recommended for all ages and families in the community.

Went to watch my grandson play football. Good pitch considering all the rain we have had. Social club staff very polite and friendly. No animosity because we were from the opposing side.

Held my dad's wake here, which was especially appropriate as he played club cricket around Wolverhampton for 30 years. The arrangements were made with Colin & Rob, both of whom were extremely helpful. There is a good size car park which has easy access to the large function room, which was important to us as we had several people with mobility issues. The food was good and there was plenty of it, together with tea and coffee and the bar was open for those that wanted to toast my dad. Overall excellent.

Nice clean club house. Sizeable function rooms. Very reasonably priced bar. A good sized car park at the front with another good sized over flow to the rear. I was here for a birthday party which was ideal for this venue. Only one complaint was that the room was a little warm.

Just wanted to say thank you to Rob and everyone who helped us organise our mom's wake at the cricket club at the end of Nov. We could not have asked for anymore. The buffet that was provided was excellent and to the room itself. we where even able to take our homemade cakes in. Thank you all. Would definitely recommend the cricket club.

Just held our mother's wake there in a lovely room that holds around 40 people which is perfect for smaller gatherings. It meant the atmosphere was wonderful. The buffet supplied was excellent and we were even given "doggy bags" to take home the rest rather than go to waste. Plus it is just a short drive from Bushbury Crematorium which makes it ideal for a wake. Cannot fault them. Thank you.

Superb place to hold a function, held my cousins wake there yesterday, were really pleased with prices for room hire, unlimited tea and coffee.Exellent buffet and good value fresh and well presented very reasonably priced. Could not fault. E

This is a great place to hold a function. We held my father's funeral wake there yesterday and were very happy with the sensible pricing for room hire. We went with the buffet which was such excellent value. Lovely food, very fresh and beautifully presented .

Hired the large room for refreshments after a funeral. We couldn't have chosen a better place, they could not do enough for us, so accommodating. Used their caterers, the food was delicious and so fresh. Will definately use for family functions in the future.

I would highly recommend Fordhouses Cricket Club as a first rate venue. Good choice of menu for buffet which was of a good quality and more than ample for the numbers catered. A big thank you to Rob who was most accommodating and he could not do enough for us. From the outset we had every confidence in Rob that he would deliver all that we had asked for, he went over and beyond our expectations and made it a memorable occasion.

Ground appears to be decent but hard to tell as under covers. Facilities good, changing rooms a little small. Function rooms are clean. Nice snooker room.

I was invited to a Christening party here. The food provided was 3 star. The venue is large with outside grounds available, a bar, plenty of tables, chairs and bench seating. Staff are friendly. Children's toys are available and a stage is built in. Toilets are clean.

A social club. I was there for an organised event - retirement do. We hired the place, got our own DJ and organised our own buffet. Seating and dance floor for up to 100 people.

Great family club one of the few left long may it continue,great selection of beer especially the speckled hen,great staff, great entertainment on a Sundays only one small criticism,an improvement would be a small canopy above the stage and a spot light so you could see the performing artists face.
