DESCRIPTION:All Stars Cricket is a new ECB coaching initiative aimed at teaching 5-8 year old’s the basics of cricket. Coaching Courses will be starting at Fordhouses Cricket Club on Monday 22nd May from 5-6pm. To sign-up to the All Star Cricket course\, please go to https://www.ecb.co.uk/play/all-stars/parents \nDuring the 8-week coaching course\, children will meet new friends and learn all of the fundamental skills to play cricket. Our coaches will teach your children the following skills: \n– How to throw and catch a ball\n– How to hit a moving ball\n– How to bowl with a straight arm\n– The basic rules of cricket\n– How to work as a team \nWe would also encourage parents to get involved. Mum and/or Dad are encouraged to stay for the hour long session and get involved. \nThe 8-week course costs £40 and includes an All Stars Cricket branded pack including a cricket bat\, ball\, shirt\, cap\, backpack and water bottle.

DESCRIPTION:On Saturday 29 April 2017 Anthony Joshua will face Wladimir Klitschko under the arch for the IBF\, IBO and WBA Super Heavyweight Championships of the world. \nIt will be the second time in three years Matchroom Boxing have partnered with the national stadium to bring boxing to an enormous stadium audience. \nIn 2014 a packed house saw Carl Froch knock out George Groves in a highly anticipated rematch. \nJoshua was the opening fight of that memorable night as he despatched Matt Legg inside a mere 86 seconds. \nNo doubt the current IBF World Heavyweight Champion would love a repeat of that performance on 29 April! \nDoors at the club will be open from 7pm. The main event is due at approx 10pm.
